前言

本标准依据工业标准化法，经过日本工业标准调查会审议，由通商产业大臣修订。

JIS G 1212-1981 因此被废止修订，由本标准替代。

本次修订为与国际标准接轨，将 ISO 标准译文规定为附属书 2、附属书 4 及附属书 5。

JIS G 1212 包含以下附属书：

附属书 1 二氧化硅重量法 (1)

附属书 2 二氧化硅重量法 (2)（ISO 439）

附属书 3 钼硅酸蓝吸光光度法 (1)

附属书 4 钼硅酸蓝吸光光度法 (2)（ISO 4829-1）

序文

本标准翻译了 1994 年以第 2 版发行、收录于附属书 2 的 ISO 439《Steel and iron－Determination of total silicon content－Gravimetric method》；

同时翻译了 1986 年发行、收录于附属书 4 的 ISO 4829-1《Steel and cast iron－Determination of total silicon content－Reduced molybdosilicate spectrophotometric method－Part 1 : Silicon contents between 0.05 and 1.0%》，

以及 1988 年发行、收录于附属书 5 的 ISO 4829-2《Steel and iron－Determination of total silicon content－Reduced molybdosilicate spectrophotometric method－Part 2 : Silicon contents between 0.01 and 0.05%》。

本标准在不变更技术内容及标准格式的前提下编制而成，同时追加了对应国际标准未规定的事项，作为日本工业标准内容。

另外，本标准中带点线下划线的 “参考” 标注，为原国际标准未记载的事项。
